I reclaimed my space today.
Determined it was OK for me to need what I need. And I hope you can agree, but if not it’s okay, because it’s really been always up to me.
I loved my self today.
Found the strength that I fooled myself into thinking wasn’t there. To engage in self care and begin mending my wounds.
I cried today.
Hot tears of joy and relief, aah…the best medicine. Each drop carried the weight I should have released long ago.
I forgave today
Compassion flooded my soul’s complex, And filled the low points I thought prevented wholeness.
I reclaimed my space today.
And stretched into a being I hadn’t filled in far too long.
