How do I explain my pain
In terms you can gain wisdom?
If your grandmothers grandmother
Didnt stare at kids through blurry vision,
Despising the womb that birthed em
Crying for a bit if mercy.
…Her captor loves “fresh meat”.
She came into the world through violation
And sees that same cold stare
When he sees lil Sally’s jubilation.
Shes only 12,
old enough in his book.
Men trained to stand down
Or die.
Forty lashes if the captors are more sadistic than murderous today
… I wasnt there and this shit is painful still
If you cant see the bigger picture
Find new focus.
Its time to heal
And this band aid is coming off
Whether you like it or not
So stop squirming
And let it be
