Interconnectedness

If one is mighty, they one is aware of interconnectedness and holistic systems.

To be aware, one must be conscious, which is an active action. To be conscious requires effort, it is not passive. When aware, one actively seeks to distinguish patterns, common occurrences and seemingly random phenomena. When aware, one seeks to determine the cause of certain effects.

To be interconnected A must have a dependent relationship (no matter the degree) to B (and vice-versa). The success and/or survival of A is dependent on B, just as B’s success and/or survival is dependent on A. There is a natural equilibrium which forms between the two. As A flourishes, so does B. As A declines, so does B. If either A or B is on the decline, they other will adjust ( though a “lag” in the time of the adjustment may occur). Interconnectness is rarely as simple as a bi-directional relationship.

As thinking being, we must seek out how thins are connected. Energy can’t be created not can it be destroyed. Energy from one event must be transferred elsewhere. To understand how things work, we must figure out who/what receives energy during a certain event.

There is a cyclic nature to our reality. The sum of a system’s parts are greater than the individuals. Each part is magnificent and wonderful in its own right, but when together, this magnificence is multiplied/magnified. One must understand how each individual part functions to better understand the whole. Each individual plays a vital role in the well being of the whole.

A reduction or absence of an individual’s capacities will hinder the whole. An individual may attempt to compensate for what is lost from another’s output, but 100% compensation is rare and close to impossible. When these rare instances do occur, they last briefly and end up hindering the system more in the process due to a more rapid exhaustion of resources.
